# Galeon Paper Trader Copy Trading Guide

### What is Paper Trader?

Galeon Paper Trader (PT) is an AI-powered quantitative trading system that analyzes market data in real-time through a 23-dimension voting model, automatically executing futures and spot trades.

PT Copy Trade allows you to replicate all of PT's trading operations to your Binance account with one click, enabling automated AI-driven trading.

The bot ID: @Galeon\_signal\_bot

### Getting Started

#### Option A: Create a Privy Wallet (Required)

1. Visit the Galeon Web platform, register and create a Privy wallet
2. If you'd also like to view wallet balances and receive notifications on Telegram, you can optionally bind your TG account:
   * Find Galeon Bot on Telegram, send `/start`
   * Generate a bind code on the Web platform → send `/bind <code>` in TG
   * Or send `/bindweb` in TG to generate a code → enter it on the Web platform
   * After creating your Privy wallet and depositing BNB into the wallet address, don’t forget to click “Enable EVM Auto Trade” to activate automated trading.![](/files/KqHbLvUQICsMsPo3NM1X)<br>

#### Option B: Enable Copy Trading (Requires Option A)

To automatically copy PT's trades on your Binance account, complete the following steps after Option A:

**1. Bind Your Binance API Key**

1. Log in to Binance, go to **API Management**, and create a new API Key
2. Permission settings:
   * ✅ Enable "Spot Trading"
   * ✅ Enable "Futures Trading"
   * ❌ **Disable "Withdrawal"** (must be disabled for security)
   * Recommended: Set IP whitelist for additional security
3. Send `/bindkey` in TG, then enter your API Key and Secret Key as prompted

**2. Deposit Platform Fee (BNB)**

* Send `/blance` in TG to view your Privy wallet address
* Deposit a small amount of BNB (BSC chain) to this address for platform fees
* Platform fee per trade = Trade amount × 0.2%, converted to BNB at real-time price

**3. Deposit Trading Capital**

* Ensure your Binance futures account has sufficient USDT balance

**4. Start Copy Trading**

1. Send `/follow` in TG
2. Choose your capital mode:
   * **Fixed Amount**: Use a fixed amount per trade ($5 / $10 / $20 / $50 / $100 / $200 / $500 / $1000)
   * **Auto Percentage**: Use 5% of your futures account USDT balance per trade
3. Set daily loss circuit breaker (optional):
   * Disabled
   * Pause at -5% daily loss
   * Pause at -10% daily loss
   * Pause at -20% daily loss
4. Confirm and you're all set!

### How Copy Trading Works

#### Opening Positions

When PT's AI analysis identifies a trading opportunity and opens a position, it will automatically execute the same trade on your Binance account:

* Same trading pair, same direction (long/short)
* Uses your configured trade amount
* Syncs PT's leverage setting
* Deducts trade amount × 0.2% equivalent BNB from your Privy wallet as platform fee

#### Closing Positions

When PT closes a position, your copied position closes simultaneously:

* **Stop Loss**: Price hits stop loss level, full close
* **Take Profit**: Profit target reached, partial or full close
* **Health Exit**: AI detects deteriorating market conditions, proactive reduction
* **Data Protect**: When data weakens during profit, closes half to lock in gains
* **Timeout**: Position exceeds maximum holding time
* No platform fee charged on close

#### Circuit Breaker Protection

If you've set a daily loss circuit breaker:

* When cumulative losses from closed trades reach your set threshold, copy trading is automatically paused
* No new positions will be opened; existing positions continue to be managed normally
* Automatically resumes at 00:00 the next day

### FAQ

**Q: Is my money safe with copy trading?** A: Your funds remain in your own Binance account at all times. The API Key has withdrawal disabled, so the system can only execute trades and cannot move your funds. Keys are encrypted at all times.

**Q: What happens to open positions after I stop copy trading?** A: Existing positions will not be closed immediately. They will wait for PT to trigger stop loss/take profit normally.

**Q: Why did a trade fail to open?** A: Common reasons: insufficient USDT in futures account, insufficient BNB in Privy wallet for fees, or inadequate API Key permissions.

**Q: How do I resume after circuit breaker triggers?** A: It automatically resumes at 00:00 the next day. To resume immediately, send `/follow` again.

**Q: Can I use copy trading without binding Telegram?** A: No. PT Copy Trading requires Telegram Bot for operation, so TG binding is mandatory. However, you can view PT's trading data on the Web platform without binding TG.

**Q: Where is the BNB fee deducted from?** A: From your Privy wallet (BSC chain), not from your Binance account. Make sure your wallet has sufficient BNB. Send `/feewallet` to check your balance and deposit address.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://gameland-1.gitbook.io/galeon/galeon-paper-trader-copy-trading-guide.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
